Classic car engine rebuild and overhaul

a worn classic engine? Compression loss, oil burning, engine knocks and noises, excessively worn bearings, low oil pressure, and coolant consumption are all common reasons for rebuilding.

This GTO suffered from multiple issues and required engine rebuilding.

This DeLorean DMC-12 "Time Machine" overheated and had head failure. Upon further assessment, it was best to overhaul the 2.8L PRV engine over simply replacing head gaskets and machining the heads.


During the rebuild process is a great time to add more

performance

to the engine, run a strong camshaft, or build it beefier. If the numbers match, you may want to build a donor motor and save the authentic block off to the side.
